This quarter, Falcon employees and their families volunteered their Saturday morning to serve at the Charlotte Rescue Mission located in downtown Charlotte.

Falcon served lunch and encouraged residents taking part in Rebound, a 90-day residential program empowering individuals to move beyond cycles of homelessness and addiction to become productive citizens in the community.

volunteerResidents at the mission chatted with Falcon employees while enjoying and being served lunch. “The people there were very nice and friendly. It felt good to help. We talked to a very nice man who gave us good advice about life,” explains one young volunteer from Falcon’s group.

The Charlotte Rescue Mission’s purpose is “to minister the Good News of Christianity to individuals caught in the crisis of poverty, hopelessness, or addictions by meeting their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.”
