Falcon Fastening Solutions has a long history of philanthropy, not only for its local community, but also for causes around the world. Falcon even offers paid time off for employees who volunteer their time, whether that be for a mission in another country or for helping a cause closer to home.
Most recently, Falcon reached out to a family of seven who lost their home and all their possessions in a house fire in June of this year. Falcon hosted a yard sale benefit to raise money for the family. Employees, friends and family all donated items to help the cause. In addition, local printer, Steele Creek Printing, as well as FastSigns of Charlotte donated printing services and material to help publicize the event.
“Falcon, as a company, has always worked together to help many charities and families in need,” says Carol Watson, Account Manager and long-time employee at Falcon. “I am proud to work with a group of people who rally together as a team to do what we can for others.”
The family was able to shop the donations pre-sale to choose items that they could use. At the conclusion of the benefit, the family received all of the proceeds from the event and the remaining items were donated to The National Kidney Foundation to continue in helping others in the community.
“We are fortunate to be in a position to help others in our lives and in our community,” states Don Nowak, President and Owner of Falcon. “We were honored to help this family and I am proud to have employees who actively pursue opportunities to serve and aid their fellow man.” If you are interested in helping this family, please visit: https:www.crowdrise.com/seamanfamily
